Who this covers
This policy covers the 360° Trybe website and member experience run by RCCG National Young Adults & Youth Affairs (NYAYA). Trybe Identity manages registration, sign-in, email verification and your shared profile. Its own privacy information applies to those account services; Trybe receives the identity details needed to recognise you and provide this member experience.
Information we use
- Account details received from Trybe Identity, such as your name, verified email, account identifier and Home Church.
- Information you choose to add in Trybe, such as community preferences, programme participation and notification choices.
- Content you submit through available features, including any prayer or support information you choose to share. Please avoid posting sensitive details in public spaces.
- Technical information needed to keep the service working and secure, such as session data and records of requests or errors.
How we use it
We use this information to provide your account and relevant community experience, operate programmes, deliver the notifications you choose, respond to requests, protect the service and understand how it is working. Where a use depends on your choice or consent, you can change that choice where the feature provides a control.
Circle eligibility and campaign invitations
Some Circles have published age or gender requirements. Gender comes from your Identity profile. If you choose to provide a birth date for age checks, Trybe stores it encrypted as a date you declare, not as a verified Identity record. You can correct or remove it in your Circle age settings after signing in. Without a required profile fact, the restricted Circle is unavailable.
When you explicitly join through a campaign invitation, Trybe records the campaign source and admission dates/status so authorised Circle admission staff can monitor requests and joins. Campaign reports show member names and admission information, not birth dates or genders. Following a QR link does not itself join a Circle or prove event attendance.
Who can access it
Authorised Trybe staff and volunteers may access information needed for their assigned work. Access to member and care information is limited by role and purpose. Service providers may process information to host the app or deliver messages on our behalf. We do not sell member information. We may disclose information where required by law or to address a serious safety concern.
Cookies, sessions and notifications
Trybe uses session technology to keep you signed in and maintain security. If you choose to enable browser or device notifications, the app stores the information needed to send them to that device. You can change programme notification choices in your notification settings after signing in and change device permission in your browser settings.
Keeping information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the service, safety, record keeping or legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it according to the applicable retention process. Different records can have different retention periods. Removing your Trybe account may not immediately remove records that must be kept for these reasons.
Your choices and requests
You can update shared profile details through Trybe Identity and change available preferences in Trybe. You may also ask to access, correct or delete information about you, or raise a concern about its use, subject to applicable law. Contact your parish or provincial Trybe team and ask them to route your request to the NYAYA team responsible for privacy requests. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security and changes
We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information, while recognising that no online service can guarantee absolute security. If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate. Questions about using the service are also covered in the Terms of Use.
